Defining Technology
Unfortunately, we often confuse the goals and activities of" teaching about technology" with integration efforts that result in "teaching with technology." (p. 196)
Technology is more than an object that runs off of batteries and has a screen, it is a tool that facilitates in accomplishing a task in an effective way. Technology is a necessary modern resource that connects us to others with little to no boundaries, while creating possibilities for many who lack the ability without it.​
